My Top 10 Favorite Christian Rap Songs

by Jeff Brown | Jan 7, 2020 | Articles

Christian rap and hip-hop have played a large role in my life. These ten songs in particular are incredibly impactful, and I hope you’ll find them as helpful as I have.

10. Greatest Story Ever Told” by Shai Linne ft. Flame

Want a big picture of what the Bible is all about? This song does a better job of that in five minutes than any other song I know.

9.Let It Knock” by Thi’sl ft. Derek Minor

If you thought Christians couldn’t be redeemed from “the Trap,” This’l comes on the scene to give a picture of Christ entering into the streets with the gospel.

8. “Intimacy by Trip Lee ft. Diamone

This is one of my all-time favorite songs. I can just hit play and ride down the highway to this song!

7. All I Need” by Flame ft. Chris Lee

This is one of those songs that made the tears keep coming as I sat back and looked at God’s grace in my life.

6. “Heavy Laden” by Hazakim

The art of story-telling isn’t absent in Christian hip-hop. This song has been medicine for my soul for years!

5. “Who Here” by Davey Asaph

When an artist can paint a picture so well that you feel as if you were with them, it’s transcended art and entered into the deepest parts of your soul. That’s exactly what this song does.

4. “Every Word” by Andy Mineo ft. Co Cambell

When the message of a song is deep without compromising the feelings, it gives to your ears.

3. Fear” by Lecrae

When I heard this song for the first time, it was the moment that I said, “I’m with you, Lecrae, and can see the Lord is using you in ways many may not understand.”

2.Resurrection” by Da T.R.U.T.H.

Christianity stands or falls on the resurrection. This apologetic work was packaged in “BARS”.

1.Just Like You” by Lecrae

This song became very personal to me. This one song captures my relationship with my older brother. The contents of this song also ushered me into manhood as they spoke more than the words of a mere man.
